About Rex 


Rex has worked in the real estate industry for over 25-years in various capacities ranging from opening and owning a RE/MAX residential real estate brokerage office to working as a business and tax consultant to homebuilders and commercial real estate developers.

He has successfully completed the Certified Public Accountant exam, the Colorado real estate broker exam, the Arizona real estate salesperson exam and the International Code Council Class B Building Contractor exam.  

Rex has held the positions of Office Managing Partner of an international CPA firm, Corporate Officer of a publicly-traded NYSE-listed national homebuilder and Business Strategist / shareholder of a successful Internet company that was purchased by AOL-America Online.

Rex is co-owner of Legacy Realty of Colorado and holds the position of employing real estate broker.  He is a member of the Denver Board of Realtors and the Boulder Area Realtors Association. 
 
 
 
About Judy 

 
Originally from Chicago, Judy attended Columbia College of Chicago and is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago.  While living in Downtown Chicago, she owned and operated a professional children's portrait studio, and assisted traders on the floor of the Chicago Merchantile Exchange.  Subsequent to working at the Merc, Judy traded S&P E-Minis stock market index futures contracts as a day trader.

During her many years as a resident of Downtown Chicago, Judy fully immersed herself in City Living.  It was during this time that she developed her appreciation of cultural institutions, restaurants, entertainment venues and the many other offerings found only in a metropolitan area.  Judy is a student of city architecture and has lived in walk-ups, luxury lofts, townhomes and renovated industrial flats.  As a passion, Judy has attended culinary school and is an accomplished culinary. 

Outside of the business of real estate, Judy blends her knowledge of nutrition, massage therapy schooling, postartum doula training, aromatherapy certification, and knowledge of the ayurvedic sciences in the care of women and postpartum mothers.        
 
Judy is a licensed Colorado real estate broker and co-owner of Legacy Realty of Colorado.  She is a member of the Denver Board of Realtors.
 
 
 
About Giving Back 

It was Mahatma Gandhi that said "Be the change that you wish for the world".  With this thought, Judy and Rex volunteered for Moving To End Sexual Assault.  After completing an intense training course, we both volunteered as Rape Crisis Hotline counselors for over a year.

Rex completed a second training course and volunteered as a Sexual Violence Prevention Educator.  He has made over 40-presentations to over 1,000 High School and Middle School students as well as a presentation at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  In recognition of Rex's volunteer work, the Boulder Chapter of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women presented him with their 2005 Man of the Year Special Merit award. 

 
Currently, Judy is a member of the Board of Directors of Mystis -- an outreach program with the stated purpose of educating mother and child in conscious parenting and developing a support network.
